Mobile Legal Support Tailored for Elderly Care

When health challenges arise, the last thing you want to worry about is the logistics of legal paperwork. At Get My Legal Path, we understand that traditional notary settings—like banks or shipping stores—are often inaccessible for seniors or those in clinical care. We bring the office to you, providing a calm, professional, and patient experience that respects the dignity of your loved ones.

Our mobile notary services extend across Larimer, Weld, and Boulder Counties. We are specifically trained to handle the nuances of senior signings, including the careful verification of “sound mind” and free will. From executing a Medical Power of Attorney at a hospital bedside to finalizing a Living Trust in a comfortable living room, we are your partners in securing the future.

Why Choose a Specialized Senior Notary?

Hospital and assisted living signings require more than just a stamp. They require a deep understanding of facility protocols, security procedures, and the patience to wait for a patient’s clear moment.

  • Bedside Expertise: We navigate hospital corridors and clinical settings with ease, coordinating with nursing staff to ensure a smooth process.
  • Logistics Management: We account for the specific needs of medical facilities, including PPE requirements and visitor check-in procedures.
  • Transparent Distance Rates: While we serve a wide radius, we maintain fair pricing with a modest mileage fee for visits beyond our core service area to ensure we can reach even the most rural parts of Northern Colorado.

Senior & Hospital Notary FAQ

Why is there a convenience fee for hospital visits?

Hospital signings are significantly more complex than standard home visits. They often involve paid parking, extensive security screenings, and long walks through facilities to find the correct patient room. This $20 fee ensures we can dedicate the necessary time and resources to provide a high-quality bedside experience.

How is the mileage fee calculated?

We include the first 25 total miles of travel in our base $40 mobile fee. If the total round-trip travel exceeds 25 miles, we charge $1.25 for each additional mile. This helps cover the rising costs of fuel and vehicle maintenance while allowing us to serve more remote areas of Northern Colorado.

Can you notarize for someone in memory care?

Yes, provided the signer is experiencing a “lucid interval” and can demonstrate awareness of the document and a desire to sign it of their own free will. We use a patient, respectful screening process to determine capacity as required by Colorado law.
