What is an Acknowledgment?
An acknowledgment is a formal declaration before a authorized official (Notary Public) by a person who has signed a document, stating that the signature is their free act and deed. Unlike a Jurat, the document does not necessarily need to be signed in the presence of the notary, but the signer must appear before the notary to acknowledge the signature.

- Power of Attorney
- Real Estate Deeds (Warranty Deeds, Quitclaim Deeds)
- Trust Documents
- Wills and Estate Plans
