Financial Notarization FAQ

Can you notarize for out-of-state bank accounts?
Yes. As long as the document is being signed in Colorado, we can notarize the signature regardless of where the financial institution is located.
Issues with 401k/Retirement forms?
Many retirement forms require a Medallion Signature Guarantee (which only banks/brokers can provide). However, many only require a standard notarization. Please check with your plan administrator first.
Is a witness required?
Generally no, unless specifically instructed on the form. If required, you must provide a qualified, impartial adult witness or we can provide one at an extra cost.
